Congratulations to all the West Milford Artists Association Members
who participated in St. Catherine of Bologna Patron of the Arts Association
6th Annual Photo, Art and Poetry Exhibition.
The Exhibition ran for 3 days, March 11-13 with a wine and cheese reception on Saturday the 12th.
Participating in the Exhibit
- Martha Boshart who was awarded 2nd place ribbons for each of her mixed media. “Dragon Fan” and her sculpture of “Under the Sea”. The dragon fan can be seen on Martha’s new blog site http://spaces.msn.com/members/medoodleart/
- Claude Harrington entered 3 works “Didn’t Say Goodbye, but Hello”, “To New Life” and received a 2nd place ribbon in Watercolors for “The Mailman”
- Cesar Jerez had 3 works also.“Manasquan Sunset”. Received 1st place in Oils for “Boonton Marsh” and an Honorable mention for “Receding Fog”
- Judy Sachais 3 works were “On the Dock of the Bay”, “Daisies in Brass Bowl” and was awarded 1st place in Oils for “Wolf”
- Donie Schmidt 2nd place in Pastels for her bear head “Gris” and 2 Honorable mentions for “Sad Shadow” and “Tender Care”. View more of Donie's work at Art by Donie Schmidt http://www.artbydonieschmidt.com
- Theresa Qurik showed 3 Paintings. “Low Tide, Donegal Ireland”, “Gratto” and Connermara Famine, Ireland.
- Larry Tornow had 3 Photos. “Hopi Pueblo”, “Ruins” and “Bird of Paradise”
Seems Cesar and Judy tied. Way to Go!

Page Lindroth to Show at Philip Alan Gallery in New York City,
March 31 - May 1
Member Page Lindroth has two large oils in a group show at the Philip Alan Gallery at 30 Avenue B (between 2nd and 3rd Streets) in New York. An opening reception is set for Thursday, March 31st from 6-8:00 p.m.
The show will run from March 31st - May 1st, 2005.
Philip Alan Gallery Hours: Friday and Saturdays: 1-8 p.m. and Sundays 12- 5 p.m.

Group Show at Wayne Public Library, April 3-30
Three members of the WMAA will show their paintings at the Wayne Public Library during the month of April, 2005.
- Mingming Bowerson will show watercolors.
- Page Lindroth will be showing oils and mixed-media acrylics.
- Eileen Niebisch will show watermedia.
